HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -- The Hawaiian Humane Society is offering a reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for dumping a litter of puppies into a Waianae Boat Harbor dumpster.

The puppies were just hours old with their umbilical cords still attached. Animal rescue group K9 Kokua found the pups. All of them eventually died.

The Humane Society is offering up to a $1,000 reward. If you have information call the Humane Society at 356-2240.
