HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Ancient Hawaiians and their traditional lifestyle revolved heavily around the concept of a land-to-sea relationship. Amy Kalili told us about a very unique internship opportunity to learn hands-on what this concept is about.
"So we just wanna lomi that. We want to integrate the upland and shoreline environments," said Hiilei Kawelo Executive Director, Paepae o Heeia.
Paepae o Heeia maintains and cultivates Heeia fishpond and is partnering with Hui K Maoli Native Plant Nursey on this internship program.
