High surf warning in effect for all islands

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A high surf warning remains in effect until 6:00 PM Tuesday.

Surf along north and west facing shores of Kauai and Niihau and Along north facing shores of Oahu, Molokai and Maui will be 20 to 25 feet Tuesday.

Surf along west facing shores of Oahu and Molokai will be 12 to 20 feet Tuesday.

Surf along west facing shores of the island of Hawaii will be 8 to 12 feet Tuesday.

A high surf warning means dangerous, battering waves will pound the shoreline. Stay well away from the shoreline in areas affected by the large surf.
