Billy V: CBS ads, Tiger Woods, Charlie Sheen

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - CBS has sold 95 percent of its 30-second ads and is cutting deals for the rest. CBS is charging up to $3 million for the ads. It's taken for granted that the Super Bowl is an effective way to reach consumers. Last year was a record high for viewers, with 98.7 million people tuning in to watch the Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Arizona Cardinals. That outpaced 2008, when 97.5 million football fans watched the New York Giants' narrow victory over the New England Patriots.

One of Tiger's many mistresses, Loredana Jolie Ferriolo, is penning a tell-all book about the golf ace and claims that she witnessed him in gay encounters. RadarOnline.com reports that Loredana has claimed she saw Tiger with other men -- something no other mistress has claimed. Loredana recently attempted to sell her story for $1 million; a story which includes graphically described events that included incidents of Tiger with other men.

A Colorado judge is demanding that Charlie Sheen attend his next hearing live and in person. Sheen had requested to participate in the February 8 hearing by phone, but on Thursday the judge rejected his request, meaning Sheen will have to go back to Aspen to face allegations he threatened his wife with a knife on Christmas Day.
