Rainbow Wahine host Kent State in Manoa

MANOA (HawaiiNewsNow) - For the first time in 3 weeks, the Rainbow Wahine basketball team was back in action at the Stan Sheriff Center.

On Tuesday night, Hawaii hosted Kent State.

Dana Takahara Dias looking to lead the Wahine to their 5th win of the season.

And this isn't going to make coach happy.

Jamilah Humes with the steal and the lay up.

She had 11 points for the Golden Flashes.

Hawaii fans put their faith in UH's leading scorer.

And Keisha Kanekoa delivered what's expected of her and more...she took advantage of the turnover.

The Honokaa grad had 19 points - double her average.

Better yet, Kanekoa hit the game winner with 3 seconds left.

Hawaii edged out Kent State 54-53.
