'The Shorebreak Art of Clark Little' captures Oahu's North Shore waves

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Clark Little is a surfer turned photographer who has, in a very short time, become known for capturing beautiful shots of Oahu's North Shore waves. Kelly Slater and Jack Johnson are such fans that they wrote forewards for his new book "The Shorebreak Art of Clark Little."

Clark joined Sunrise on Thursday morning to talk about his new book and his beautiful photography.

Waimea shorebreak surfer turned art photographer, Clark Little has included a collection of his popular photos as well as new images each of which capture the power and beauty of Oahu's North Shore waves from the inside out. Forewords written by Jack Johnson and Kelly Slater introduce the reader to the more than 100 photographs featured in "The Shorebreak Art of Clark Little". Seventy-five of these are two-page spreads and include captions of the photographs. Anyone, who appreciates and enjoys a one-of-a-kind ocean vista with a close-up clarity and perspective seldom seen even by the most experienced surfer, will delight in this unique (and safe) experience.

The Limited Signed Edition book retails for $100 and the first 10,000 will include Clark's signature on page #1 and a hand-woven slipcase to protect the book.

In the near future, a Collector's Edition will also be available for $350. Only 500 of the Collector's Edition will be printed and will include a leather cover, clamshell case with embossed lettering, and two limited edition prints only available in the Collectors Edition.
