A local filmmaker is screening her new film "Homealani" this weekend. Ann Marie Kirk tells the story of her grandfather Colonel Oliver Homealani Kupau, who became one of the Army's highest ranking native Hawaiian officers in the early 1900's. Old movies and photographs bring his story to life. "Homealani" will be shown Sunday at 4 p.m. at the Kamehameha schools Kapalama auditorium.

Running is such a passion for a Florida couple, so much so they decided to get married while jogging 8 miles. David and Isabelina met and fell in love while running, so they say it just seemed natural to get hitched while running on the beach. The couple says they run everyday, 360 days a year.
