HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Olympic torch continued its trek towards the 2010 winter Olympics in Vancouver with a stop in Quebec. An enthusiastic crowd greeted the flame as it begins its journey to a thousand Canadian communities before arriving in Vancouver for the 2010 winter games. The run through Canada is the longest domestic run of the torch in Olympic history.

The world's largest ice skating rink has opened in downtown Mexico City. City officials covered the main city plaza in ice creating a mammoth rink that measures 200 by 101 feet. 400 skaters can be on the ice at the same time. Entrance is free and even with it's huge size, skaters have to wait for hours to get on.

Even though, the Red Sox were swept out of the first round of this years major league baseball playoffs, that's not kept the bean town crazies from lining up for tickets to next seasons spring training! Dozens of fans pitched tents outside the ball park in Florida waiting out the rain. Some have been waiting since last week for the chance to by the hot ticket this pre-season, the Saint Patrick's day game against the New York Mets.
