Good Things: Adopt a pet, Toys for Tots, Wii for fitness

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - On Tuesday, December 8, L&L drive inn is holding a special holiday pet drive. The first 20 people who adopt a pet at the Hawaiian Humane Society will get a week's worth of free L&L plate lunches! And if you donate a pet toy at the Keeaumoku L&L in Wal-Mart, you can get a free Pepsi six-pack. Donations will be collected between 10 a.m. to 12 noon.

Motorcycle groups and the Marines came together over the weekend, to help make some kids really happy this holiday. The 35th annual Toys for Tots motorcycle run. They road through Waikiki to Kapiolani Community College, where the Marines accepted toys for needy kids. Around 6500 bikers from around the state took part. This Wednesday night is the final "Toys for Tots" event, a free concert at the Blaisdell.
