HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Mayor Mufi Hannemann will put the finishing touch on the city's 50-foot Christmas tree on Friday. He'll put the tree top ornament in place at 2:00 PM in front of Honolulu Hale.
Hannemann will flip the switch to turn the tree's lights on this Saturday at the 25th annual Honolulu City Lights celebration. The food booths and rides open a couple of hours before the 6:00 PM tree-light ceremony.
Some familiar faces from Hawaii News Now will be there to host the festivities.
