Billy V: Tiger Woods, Susan Boyle, Grammy nominations

HONOLULU (HAWAIINEWSNOW) - One measure of Tiger Woods' drawing power, if we needed any, is the fact that yesterday the most-searched term in the world became the word "transgressions." The word figures prominently in Woods' statement apologizing publicly for his behavior following reports that he had been carrying out several affairs, including a relationship with Jaimee Grubbs, a 24-year-old Las Vegas cocktail waitress. The number two search item on Wednesday? "Jaimee Grubbs pics"

In Susan Boyle's native United Kingdom, the Scottish singer's album "I Dreamed A Dream" sold 410,000 copies to become the best-selling debut album by a singer; but here in the US Susan Boyle is debuting at No. 1 with 701,000 copies sold in the U.S., breaking the record for highest single-week sales for an album in 2009.

Nominations for the Grammy's are out, with Beyonce leading with 10 nods, Taylor Swift with 8, Kanye West, Maxwell and Black Eyed Peas have 6 each.
