In NFL news, former Warrior Travis LaBoy has been suspended by the league for four games.

According to a report by ESPN, the defensive lineman's suspension is for undisclosed reasons.

LaBoy is currently a free agent after being cut by the Arizona Cardinals this past April.

It was also a bad day for another former UH star. Kicker Jason Elam was released by the Atlanta Falcons.

The 3-time Pro Bowler and 17-year veteran struggled this season, making just 8 of his 15-field goal attempts from at least 30 yards.

Atlanta signed Matt Bryant to take Elam's place.
