HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - An East Oahu man, who's accused of providing liquor to a teenager who wound up dead from alcohol poisoning, went to court and demanded a jury trial Tuesday.
Michael Clark is charged with five counts of providing intoxicating liquor to a minor. Police say he hosted a drinking party at his parents' Hawaii Kai home and served alcohol to at least five people under the age of 21.
The youngest, Makamae Ah Mook Sang, 15, died from acute alcohol intoxication. An autopsy revealed that her blood alcohol level was .433. That's more than five times the legal limit for a person driving.
