Recipe: Chicken Sate with Thai Peanut Sauce

Chicken Sate' with Thai Peanut Sauce


  • 1.5 pounds of chicken cut to a bite size
  • ¼  tablespoon of curry powder
  • ¼ tablespoon of garlic powder
  • ¼ tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon of condensed milk
  • 1.5 tablespoons of fish sauce or Aloha Shoyu
  • ¼ cup of coconut milk
  • 16 pieces of wooden skewer


Cut the chicken to a bite size (3/4 inch cube) and marinated with coconut milk, curry powder, garlic powder, condensed milk and fish sauce for about an hour.

Skewer the chicken with the wooden sticks and grill with medium heat until it cook perfectly.  Served with Thai Peanut Sauce.

Thai Peanut Sauce


  • ½  tablespoon of Thai red curry paste
  • 2 cups of coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoons of peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon of fish sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon Paprika
  • ½ tablespoon of sugar


In a pot or pan add all the ingredients together except peanut butter and bring to a boil then let it simmer for 10-15 minutes then add peanut butter, turn the heat off. Served as a dipping sauce.
