HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A tour helicopter on Maui with seven people on board was forced to make an emergency landing Monday afternoon when the pilot noticed an engine warning light.
The Blue Hawaiian Eurocopter with a pilot and six passengers on board was returning to Kahului Maui International Airport, according to the FAA.
The pilot safely set the helicopter down in a field a half-mile east of the airport around 12:30 PM.
None of the seven people on board was injured, and the helicopter sustained minor damage to the tail boom.
