Honolulu (HawaiiNewsNow) - It's been nearly 3-months since Michelle Wie had her break out moment at the Solheim Cup and it looks like that momentum has stuck.
The evidence came on day three of the Lorena Ochoa Invitational.
This is for bird on the 13th and the share of the lead and it finds nothing but the bottom of the cup.
Michelle took a 3-way share of the lead at 11-under par.
She would eventually lose a stroke, but would regain a share of the lead on the 16th.
So coming into the 18th Michelle needed this bird to take sole possession of first place.
And it's just a bit wide; Wie finishes her day with a 2-under 70.
And after 3-rounds, Michelle is tied atop the leader board at 10-under with Christie Kerr heading into tomorrow's final day.
