FBI to hand out child ID kits at Warriors game

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Parents heading to the Warriors game tomorrow will get an added bonus. The FBI will hand out four thousand of these child identification kits at Aloha Stadium.

The kit has a place for your child's fingerprints, photographs and medical records. It also has cotton swabs for collecting your child's DNA.

These things would be vital to law enforcement if your child ever goes missing.

"This is something that we're giving to the parents. We're hoping they'll complete the kits and just put them in a drawer and not even worry about it. If god forbid something should happen they can give it to law enforcement and they can react accordingly," said FBI special agent Tom Simon.

This is the first time the FBI will distribute child id kits at a UH game.

If you can't make the kickoff, you can get a kit online at http://www.childidprogram.com/.
