HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The National Weather Service has extended a flood advisory for the Big Island until 7:15 PM Thursday.
At 4:09 pm radar showed heavy rain between Mountain View and Volcano and between Hilo and Papeekeo. The area of heavy rain was moving north at 15 mph.
The advisory includes Papikou, Keaau. Honomu and Hawaiian Paradise Park but is not limited to those areas.
