WAHIAWA (HawaiiNewsNow) - Veteran's Day was celebrated in Wahiawa with a parade to honor the men and women who have served our country.

Thousands watched as the participants marched from Ka'ala Elementary School up California Ave. to the other end of town.

"It shows a bridge from generation to generation to show the veterans from the previous wars, from World War II going all the way up to the returning and currently deploying veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan," said Staff Sgt. Joe Lobban, U.S. Army.

It the 64th time the Wahiawa Lions Club has organized the Veteran's Day celebration.
