Notre Dame upset by the Midshipmen

Punahou alum Manti Teo went to Notre Dame in hopes of re-writing the Golden Domers record book.

Unfortunately, today against one of the Irish's oldest rivals, he was on the wrong side of a historical moment.

The last time a ranked Irish team lost a home game to an unranked Navy squad was back in 1936 and that is called foreshadowing.

But first Teo get's in on that stop for one of his 5-tackles. Dobbs wound up rushing for 108-yards and a touch on the day.

In the 3rd, Notre Dame finally gets on the score board with a Robert Hughes run, 14-7 Navy.

But the Midshipmen would put things out of reach late in the 3rd. Ricky Dobbs only attempted 3-passes but this one is complete for a 52-yard touchdown strike to Greg Jones.

Notre Dame would score late in the game to keep the score close. But Navy pulls off the upset, 23-31.
