Ka'anapali Golf Resort

Ka'anapali Golf Resort was the first planned resort in the state of Hawaii and is home to two championship courses.  The resort underwent a $13 million renovation in 2005-2007 and the Royal Course was recently named the No. 11 "Best Tour Course You Can Play" by Golfweek Magazine.

The Royal Ka'anapali Course, a Robert Trent Jones, Sr. design, opened in 1962 and has tested the skills of professional and amateurs alike.  The Royal Course combines wide fairways and undulating greens, making it both distinctive and demanding.  With more than 45 years of tournament history, this course has hosted many of golf's greatest legends: Gary Player, Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Billy Casper and Jan Stephenson.

The Ka'anapali Kai Course is more of a strategic round, with smaller bunker protected greens.  Many of the holes play into the foothills of the West Maui Mountains and offer astounding views of the Pacific and neighboring islands.  Ka'anapali played host to Golf Channel's #1 series, Big Break Ka'anapali in 2008 and is home of the Wendy's Champions Skins Game (2008-2010).
