PHILADELPHIA (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Yankees World Series title celebration is on hold. The Phillies found a way to win Game 5. Even Maui's Shane Victorino had to gut it out. He required an x-ray during the game.

Victorino batted second in the Phillies line up. He was up at the plate in the first inning and then down real quickly. The St Anthony grad was hit by a pitch from New York starter A.J. Burnett. But that got him to first, where he didn't stay for long. The very next batter was Chase Utley. Utley made Victorino feel better by sending him home on a 3 run homer.

Victorino's finger was swollen but x-rays taken during the game came up negative. He'd leave in the seventh as a precaution. In the seventh Utley also went yard again. The shot ties him with Reggie Jackson for most homers in a single World Series with a total of five. Phillies with the 8-6 victory.

The Yankees series lead to 3 and 2. Victorino went 0 for 3 at the plate. Cliff Lee pitched Philly to a win in Game 1...and does it again in Game 5...going 7 innings strong.
