HALAWA (HawaiiNewsNow) - Fans packed Aloha Stadium Monday night, but not for what you may be thinking about. No Monday night football, instead marching bands from across Oahu took to the field at this 34th annual event.
Radford High School's Red Brigade Marching Band impressed the crowd, then Roosevelt followed with a white-out performance. The Mules of Leilehua kicked it up a notch.
A total of 11 bands played for about 10 minutes in front of friends, family and fellow students.
"It's just amazing to see your child grow up and do something like this, especially with the theme that they had, which was heroes and pay tribute to what's actually going on in the world right now," Leilehua parent, Tony Fontillas said.
