HONOLULU (HAWAIINEWSNOW) - Some of Hawaii's young surfers showed off their skills on Sunday for the Rabbit Kekai keiki surf contest finals at Queen's surf beach. The 90-year-old Kekai is a former surfing and paddling champion and was a protégé of Duke Kahanamoku. Kekai caught his first wave off Waikiki Beach in 1925. He now spends his time as an ambassador for the sport and the old time Waikiki Beach Boys.

Alma Cass admits she has accomplished a lot in her lifetime, but says she never got a chance to see how her favorite beer was made. She says she's been drinking "Leinenkugel beer" for about 20-years and considers herself one of their biggest fans.
