WAIKIKI (KHNL) - Shell Va' a wins their fourth consecutive Molokai Hoe, also known as the world championships of outrigger canoe paddling.
Over 1,000 paddlers took part in the 42-mile race from Molokai to Waikiki. There were plenty of local, national and international competitors, but Team Primo from Wailea proved their worth.
After three years of Tahitian dominance, Team Primo from Wailea battled for first place.
In the end, Team Primo finishes second. Shell Va' a wins in a time of 4 hours, 40 minutes and 17 seconds.
