HONOLULU (KHNL) - More help is on the way for parents who are trying to plan for Furlough Fridays.

The Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii and the Senate and House Education committees have launched an online bulletin board.

It's called "Keep Active on Furlough Fridays."

The website lists activities for kids on the designated furlough Fridays, which will begin October 23.

"This Chamber of Commerce website is intended to help save time for parents by providing a centralized source of information that streamlines the search and listings for a variety of programs," said Jim Tollefson with The Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii.

It includes programs offered by businesses and nonprofits, including the YMCA and the Bishop Museum.

Organizations that are interested in providing information about their programs can also post activities on the website,
