LAS CRUCES, NM (KHNL) - The Rainbow Wahine volleyball team completed a successful two match road trip on Saturday after beating New Mexico State in four sets, 25-21, 15-25, 25-22 and 25-11.

The Rainbows swept LA Tech on Thursday and with their victory over the Aggies, they now return home to Hawaii with a 9-match winning streak.

Kanani Danielson led the match with 21-kills, while Stephanie Ferrell added 11-kills.

The Rainbows won the first set, but dropped the second after the Aggies came out inspired to tie the match at one set apiece.

The Rainbow Wahine have now won nine straight matches, but this is their first match during their winning streak where they didn't sweep their opponent.
