MANOA (KHNL) - The journey for their 14th consecutive WAC regular season title begins tomorrow, as the 4th ranked Rainbow Wahine volleyball team opens up conference play with a showdown against a pair of Idaho teams.

Hawaii will host a winless Boise State on Thursday, and then Idaho on Saturday. That being said, it's easy to see that the big challenge for Hawaii the next two months, won't be their opponents, as much as it will be staying sharp for a run in the NCAA tournament.

"Just going into WAC and regular season, we're just going to have to keep building and using every game as a stepping stone, so in the end, in December we'll be where we are now, ranked number four and on our way to the final four," said Wahine setter Dani Mafua

The game is scheduled to begin at 7pm Thursday and will air live on K5 The Home Team. If you're planning to attend, the University of Hawaii announced they will begin searching large bags and backpacks at all events at the Stan Sheriff Center beginning with Thursday's match. The move was in response to an effort of raising security awareness.
