LAS VEGAS (KHNL) - The University of Hawaii football team lost their first game of the 2009 season, after falling to UNLV, 34-33 in Las Vegas.

The Warriors were led by Greg Alexander's 477 yards passing, but they fell short in the final 30 seconds of the game.

Three UH receivers finished with over 100-yards receiving, Rodney Bradley with 189 yards, Kealoha Pilares with 146 yards and Greg Salas with 104 yards. It was the most impressive offensive outing of the season for the Warriors, but they couldn't convert when the game was on the line.

The Warriors fall to 2-and-1 on the season. Up next, UH travels to Ruston, Louisiana to take on La Tech next week.
