MANOA (KHNL) - The 4th ranked Rainbow Wahine volleyball team may have started sloppy, allowing 25th ranked Pepperdine to climb out of a 13 point deficit, but they still took care of business in the end.

Hawaii swept the Waves in three straight matches 25-18, 25-20, 25-21. Kanani Danielson led the team with 11 kills, but most impressive was the block of Brittany Hewitt. The freshman registered 9 of the team's 12 blocks, continuing her stellar performance in the middle. The Wahine go for the two match sweep on Saturday evening.
