HONOLULU (KHNL) - The Makiki man accused of killing a young woman and dumping her body in a Kalihi alley pleaded not guilty at his arraignment Thursday.
Corbit Ahn is charged with murder and sex assault. He entered his plea via video hook-up from the Oahu Community Correctional Center, where he remains locked up unable to post $2 million bail.
The 29-year-old is accused of strangling Iris Rodrigues-Kaikana, 18. A Kalihi resident stumbled upon the victim's nude body in a dirt alley near the Kamehameha Homes housing project last month.
Ahn's attorney says he believes evidence was tampered with.
