(KHNL) - It's an effort started three years ago with the birth of a monk seal pup at Turtle Bay. Since then, awareness has been raised about the importance of the Hawaiian monk seal, and the formation of the Hawaiian Monk Seal Response Team on Oahu began.
Tonight, the non-profit group is holding a fundrasier at the Kim Taylor Reece Gallery on Bethel Street from 6 to 9 p.m. Here to talk more about it is Donna Festa and Colleen Heyer, representatives for the response team.
