HONOLULU (KHNL) - From the Emerald city to Sin city, the Warrior football team won't spend much time celebrating their first road win over a BCS team, the Warriors are already in Las Vegas getting ready for their showdown with UNLV.

But the Warriors have some nice momentum after their 38-20 win over Washington State in Seattle on Saturday, the offensive compiled over 600 total yards in the victory, and the defense shut the Cougars down early and often.

Head coach Greg McMackin couldn't be more pleased with the progression of his team so far.

"Well we were very pleased, we started fast, I was proud of my players and coaches, and we played, we're getting better as a team and played better as team," said McMackin.

Saturday's game against UNLV will be the 19th meeting between the two teams. Hawaii leads the overall series record 12-6. UH won the last game 49-14 in September of 2007.
