Wahine sweep Wildcats

MANOA (KHNL) - The 6th ranked University of Hawaii Rainbow Wahine volleyball team made quick work of the Weber State Wildcats in both teams opening match of the Volleyball Challenge tournament.

UH won the match 25-13, 25-13 and 25-17. Kanani Danielson led the team in kills with 11, hitting .350 for the match. Wahine middle Amber Kaufman added eight kills of her own, with two aces and four blocks.

With the win Hawaii improves to 5-2 on the year. They will face the University of Texas - San Antonio on Friday night.
