MANOA (KHNL) - The Rainbow Wahine suffered their first loss of the young season, after falling to #2 ranked, Texas in the Hawaiian Airlines Wahine Volleyball Classic.
The Longhorns won the first set, 25-11 and then the second set, 25-22, to take a commanding 2-set lead over the 'bows.
But Hawaii showed up in the third set, finally winning a set against Texas, 25-22.
But the Longhorns are proved there's a big gap between the 4th ranked team and the 2nd ranked team in the nation, after Texas closed out the match with an impressive 4th set, 25-11.
The Rainbow Wahine will now face California in tomorrow's finale of the Hawaiian Airlines Volleyball Classic.
