HONOLULU (KHNL) - Many Warrior football fans are getting ready for Friday's game and the entire season.
"Oh excited," said Andrea Lee, fan.
"Looking forward to it," said Steven Aki, fan.
In fact, many Warrior football fans will be spending nearly the entire day at Aloha Stadium.
"I'm supposed to be working but my boss gave me the day off," said Stephen Lee, fan.
And they're gearing up at Rainbowtique.
"We have a lot of shirts already, but having a new one, doesn't hurt," said Aki.
The start of football season has helped empty shelves at the Ward location.
The store has seen a 20% increase in numbers of the past couple of weeks.
Hawaii fans are anxious about the new season.
"The energy and the competitiveness, its commitment and it's improved a lot, I think," said Arlette Aki, fan.
"I'm looking forward to Coach Cal and Coach Ron Lee, hopefully they do well this year and they lead our team to the Christmas bowl," said Stephen Lee.
"We're just keeping our fingers crossed that we get through this game, hopefully like '07...all the way," said Andrea Lee.
They're also looking forward to some quality time.
"Usually we get ready for the tailgate. Get the family together, barbecue," said Lee.
Hawaii fans know, win or lose, it's always a good time at Aloha Stadium.
Fans are also excited about this game, because the next home game, won't be until Oct. 10 when Hawaii hosts Fresno State.
