HONOLULU (KHNL) - The Punahou Buffanblu football team wrapped up camp on Friday and will hold a scrimmage against Farrington high school on Saturday morning.

The one thing we know about the Buffanblu is that they don't rebuild, they reload. That's exactly what they hope to do as they enter the 2009-2010 HHSA football season.

The defending state champs lost all of their big-time players, including Manti Teo, who is a freshman at Notre Dame, Dalton Hilliard and Robbie Toma at UCLA and quarterback, Cayman Shutter, a freshman at the University of Hawaii.

But despite losing all of these talented players, Head Coach, Kale Ane, says his team is ready to defend their first state championship in school history.
