Honolulu Police searching for pawn shop robber

HONOLULU - (KHNL) -  CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are asking for the public's help finding a bold robber. On July 20th, 2009, they say the suspect entered the Shafter Pawn Shop, located at 1412 Middle Street, and approached the glass case, reached over and grabbed several items of jewelry.

The owner attempted to stop the suspect and was struck in the face. The suspect fled and was seen getting into a white pickup truck that was driven by another male.

The suspect is described as in his 30's, about 5' 8" and weighing about 180 pounds with red hair. He was wearing a dark colored aloha shirt with white print, a white baseball cap and blue denim long pants.
