(KHNL) - She's a singer, a grand champion, and was seen Wednesday night on "America's Got Talent" right here on KHNL NBC 8.

Check out the incredible singing voice of 8-year old Ciana Pelekai as she joins Tracy Gladden on KHNL News 8 Today with Dash and Diane.

Tracy sat down with Ciana for an interview Wednesday morning.

Tracy Gladden:  So you actually sang on the program "America's Got Talent". When did you actually find out you could sing?

Ciana Pelekai: Like, when I was born.

Tracy: So you actually came out singing?

Ciana: Yeah.

Tracy: What kind of songs do you like to sing?

Ciana: I like to sing "At Last" and "Over the Rainbow" and "All the Single Ladies" and "If I Were a Boy."

Tracy: "All the Single Ladies"?  Now you're talking my language.  That's one of my favorite songs! Beyonce. That's a pretty tough song to sing. You are actually the 2008 grand champion of the "Al Waterson and You" keiki singing competition. Congratulations for that, first, but how did that prepare you for "America's Got Talent"?

Ciana: I'd been practicing every time, and when I went on "America's Got Talent" I just sang.

Tracy: So you weren't nervous at all?

Ciana: No.

Tracy: And what was that like when you went to Los Angeles? Was that your first time?

Ciana: Yes.

Tracy: And what was it like being in front of the judges? Some pretty famous judges. Were they nice?

Ciana: Yes.

Tracy: What are you going to sing for us?

Ciana: Today, I'm going to sing for you guys "Over the Rainbow".
