SCOTLAND (KHNL) - There are two big stories at the British Open. First, 59-year old, Tom Watson shoots a second round, 70, and a tie for the lead with Steve Marino at 5-under par.
But maybe more shocking is that Tiger Woods will not be part of the weekend at Turnberry, after missing the cut in a major for only the second time in his career.
Tiger finishes 4-over par on Friday and misses the cut by one stroke. The last time Tiger missed a cut in a major was in 2006 at the U.S. Open.
Mark Calcavecchia is third, while five golfers are tied for 4th at 3-under.
