HONOLULU (KHNL) - Two men, who prosecutors say killed a Kahala man's beloved dog because they wanted to eat it, received their punishment Tuesday.
Frank Manuma says he forgives the men who stole his pet, Caddy, and stabbed him to death.
But Circuit Judge Randal Lee tells Nelson Domingo he committed an egregious crime against an innocent animal, and orders him to serve three months in jail.
Domingo's co-defendant, Saturnino Palting, avoids jail time. He's sentenced to five years probation.
