FARMINGDALE, NEW YORK (KHNL) - After carding the lowest 36-hole score in U.S. Open history, Ricky Barnes continued where he left off in the third round of the National Championship at Bethpage Black. Barnes finished the third round at even par, 70, but bogeyed the first hole of the final round, before play was suspended by rain. So Barnes will pick up the final round on the second hole, tied for the lead with Lucas Glover, who also shot a third round, 70. As for Tiger Woods, he completed the third round at even par for the tournament, and is 7-shots off the lead. Fan favorite, Phil Mickelson shot a third round, 69 and is 2-under par at the U.S. Open. Entering Monday's final round, David Duvall is tied with Mickelson for third place. Duvall continues to surprise everyone, as he sits just 5-shots off the pace. The final round of the U.S. Open can be seen on KHNL News 8, beginning at 5:30 in the morning.
