HONOLULU (KHNL) - It appears the death of a Pearl City woman, whose body was found in a ravine off Waimano Trail last month, will remain a mystery.

After an autopsy and additional testing, the city Medical Examiner's office says Gail Yoshida's cause of death will remain "undetermined," although it's leaning towards dehydration or exposure. The ME found no traumatic injuries.

Police launched an extensive search after Yoshida and her dog went missing May 3rd.

Ten days later, the dog emerged from the trail. Crews then recovered the 64-year-old's body.

The medical examiner estimates Yoshida was alive for at least a week, dying two to two-and-a-half days before her body was found.
