PARIS, FRANCE (KHNL) - Roger Federer made history at the French Open, after beating Robin Soderling in the men's finals.
Federer finally captures the elusive career Grand Slam that he's been searching for the past four years in the French Open finals. With the win, Federer also ties Pete Sampras for the most Grand Slam titles with fourteen.
Soderling beat defending champion, Rafael Nadal to reach his first major final, but he came out tight and never established himself against Federer.
Federer will look to break Pete Sampras' record of fourteen Grand Slam titles, when he plays at Wimbledon in two weeks.
