HONOLULU (KHNL) - The Honolulu Medical Examiner on Thursday deferred the cause of death for a woman whose body was found in a ravine off Waimano Trail Wednesday.

The ME is also not yet positively identifying the body, which was recovered from the general area where police searched for Gail Yoshida. The 63-year-old left home May 3rd to walk her dog, Maile, but didn't return.

The dog suddenly emerged from the trail Wednesday, 10 days after the pair went missing. Family and friends snapped photos of Maile moments after she reappeared.

Police say the body that was found matches Yoshida's description.
