Our first Zippy's Restaurant opened for business on October 17, 1966 in McCully at a time when two brothers, Francis and Charlie Higa created an opportunity, took a risk, designed a restaurant and fast food concept and prepared to serve the community tasty meals that would satisfy local cravings. They worked hard, respected customers and employees and earned a reputation as fair-minded businessmen, responsible citizens, and mentors to their workforce, many of whom continue to work for the Company today.
Today, there are twenty-five Zippy's locations in Hawaii that are thriving along with Napoleon's Bakery, Osaka Okazuya, Kahala Sushi, Food Solutions International, A Catered Experience and ACE Express. These entities are guided by our parent company, FCH Enterprises, Inc.
