MANOA (KHNL) - The Warrior volleyball team saved their best for last, as they upset USC, in Mike Wilton's final match as Warriors head coach.
The victory marked Wilton's 316th win, the most in school history. Wilton led the team to four 20-win seasons and had the team ranked in all 17-years at the helm.
It was an emotional night for UH seniors, Sean Carney, Jim Clar and Michael China, who all played their final match in a Warriors uniform.
Joseph Strotman led the team with a career high, 30 kills and Josh Walker just missed a career high with 29 kills, as the Warriors upset 5th ranked, USC, three games to one.
Mike Wilton will head to BYU to become an assistant coach on the women's volleyball team.
