HONOLULU (KHNL) - After two full days of deliberations, an Oahu jury deciding the fate of a man accused of murder will head into the weekend without a verdict.

On Tuesday, defendant Glenn Keohokapu, Jr. told jurors he and his wife were arguing in the parking lot of Club Komomai last June, when Steven Wilcox, 19, intervened. He says Wilcox was armed with brass knuckles and started swinging at him.

Keohokapu testified that he grabbed a knife to protect himself, and Wilcox walked into it.

Prosecutors say no witnesses reported seeing the victim carrying brass knuckles that night.

The jury will continue its deliberations Monday.
