MANOA (KHNL) - Even before he stepped foot on the UH campus, freshman baseball player, Kolten Wong had a difficult decision to make after he was drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the 16th round of the Major League Baseball draft.

Go pro or play college baseball at UH?

Wong chose the latter and he says it's a decision that he doesn't regret.

"Coming to UH, I thought I'm going to get faster, stronger, just become a better baseball player altogether, so I think I made the right decision coming here and I'm glad that I made this decision", says Wong.

Now when he's not leading the Rainbows in hits and home runs, you can find Kolten in front of the television, watching one of his favorite shows, "Bully Beatdown" on MTV.

"I watch that a lot and I like it. It's pretty funny how these guys come up and they think they're so tough and they just get their butts kicked", says Wong.

And while Kolten has plenty of goals he'd like to see come true on the baseball field, when it comes to that perfect woman, you don't have to ask him twice, who he'd like to go on a date with.

"I would have to say my girl, Meagan Good, she's just so beautiful and that's the one girl that is just so awesome! She's a 10, she's got the body, looks, personality, she's just the bomb!", exclaims Wong.

Kolten and the rest of the team will open a four game series against Sacramento State, beginning this Friday night at Les Murakami Stadium.
