MANOA (KHNL) - His nickname is Skywalker. Not because Joshua Walker is a Jedi Knight, it's because of his incredible jumping abilities. In his two seasons with the Warrior volleyball team, Walker is the team leader in kills per game., but volleyball isn't the only thing he excels at.

"I'm kind of good at Sonic the Hedgehog, you know the old game, I got it on my computer, like Sonic 1 and Sonic 2. I'm really good at that game, really good at it," said Walker.

His computer isn't just used for games though, it's also used for social networking too.

"How many friends you got on facebook?" I asked.

"I don't even know, it's almost up to a thousand, almost up to a thousand," said Walker.

With that many friends, it's not a big surprise to hear what his most cherished possession is.

"I have to say my cell phone, I need that thing for everything just because I'm so far from home, I wouldn't be able to keep up with my friends and family back home, and I call them every week, so I definitely need that," said Walker.

"What's your ringtone?" I followed.

"My ringtone right now is Day and Night. I have more text messages, so that I have that as my text message ring tone and I know by Jay Z, he's my caller one," said Walker.

And for this techno-savvy athlete, when he's not watching his own highlights on the news, there's another kind of that he finds himself glued to.

"I watch VH1, I don't even like reality shows, but somehow those shows just kind of catch my eye and I can't stop watching, so I just watch all the reality shows on TV and stuff like that MTV and stuff," admits Walker.

He also said if he wasn't playing volleyball, he'd still be involved in athletics whether it be basketball or football. He also plans to major in civil engineering.
